Kaap Agri operates 14 silo complexes and has a total storage capacity of approximately 322 000 ton which includes stores at Ruststasie, Landplaas and Vredendal. In addition, Kaap Agri has four processing plants, situated in Darling, Malmesbury, Porterville and Vredendal, that process small grain seed and dried beans. The Malmesbury plant is also contracted to process Monsanto base seed for the Western Cape. Although not involved in the processing of seed potatoes, Kaap Agri trades in seed potatoes primarily form the Sandveld and Ceres region.
Kaap Agri's grain trading division is responsible for the marketing of small grain and oil seed with the necessary support of our agricultural advisory services.
