Danie Nel, Manager of the 32 Degrees warehouse in the Koue Bokkeveld, approached Jaco van Zyl, Manager of the Ceres Pakmark, to arrange for learners of local farm schools to attend the Swartland Show in Moorreesburg.

Danie decided on this initiative because several learners have shown an interest in machinery and animals, and some of the learners have never travel further than the Koue Bokkeveld area. The schools involved were Boy Muller, Tandfontein, De Meul and Voorsorg. Jaco arranged for 50 entrance tickets as well as snacks and  hamburgers which the learners enjoyed during the lunch break. According to Jaco the learners had a wonderful day and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly. On their return, several of the learners wrote letters of thanks addressed to Jaco, which were so sincere that it left no doubt as to how much they enjoyed the day.
