When Hardus Tomlinson, Manager of the Koue Bokkeveld Agrimark was approached by Badisa to come to the aid of a few farmworkers who had lost their house to a fire, he reacted as “mens-mense” would. In conjunction with the local Spar, he arranged to donate food and clothes to the fire victims, which in turn made it possible for them to utilise their income for other needs. According to Hardus the Donkerbos Estate will rebuild the workers’ house which had been completely destroyed by the fire.
