Nelspruit Agrimark donated a variety of vegetable seed to MEYN (Mpumalanga environmental youth network). MEYN is a network of young people in Mpumalanga which deals with environmental issues like climate change, waste management, mining and monoculture timber plantations. Their network was set up through the work and co-operation of several Mpumalanga organizations including scouts, children in distress, Mbombela association for the blind and Youth against climate change.

According to Francois Erasmus, Manager, MEYN serves a very good cause because it is their aim to work towards a more eco-sustainable future. It is also important that the youth will be well informed, capacitated and involved in processes and developments which will impact on our future.  On the photograph are three members of MEYN and Andre du Plooy, the Nelspruit Agrimark representative who handed over the seed.
